The teacher training program supported by the 2012 LEAP Grants of the Better World Books has started in Sisneri Higher Secondary School, Lamatar, Lalitpur on July 25, 2012.

21 teachers from seven schools of Lubhu and Lamatar village development committees have participated in the training program. The teachers will be trained on the early childhood development philosophy and strengthening their capacity to teach in English medium in their classes. Classroom observations of each teacher of each participating school by the trainer will follow the training classes.

Prior to the training, an interaction was held on July 23, 2012  at Mahalaxmi Higher Secondary School, Lubhu with the principals of the participating schools and the resource person, a local level education official, regarding conducting the training program.
