The Shanti Education Initiative Nepal (SEIN) has signed an agreement with the Devi Lower Secondary School (DLSS)of Nallu, Lalitpur, today to complete the construction of one of its school building.

Rabindra Maharjan, the Chairman of SEIN and Ganga Bahadur Ghalan of Chairman of the School Management Committee of DLSS signed the agreement amidst a function held at SEIN office in Bagbazar.

As per the agreement, SEIN will contribute NRs. 600,375 (US$ 7,500) out of the total cost of NRs. 809,519 (around US$ 10,000) with the rest of the cost borne by the community. Santi School Project (SSP), based in the US, has provided the financial support for this program.

The construction project is expected to start next week and end by mid September.
